1. Pick a topic related to a specific social inequality issue. 2. Formulate a research question or questions about your topic. In other words, think about what you would like to know about your topic 3. Eight (8) academic sources (journal articles or appropriate books by university presses or scholarly publishing companies) in the paper. 4. Write a full 6 page paper summarizing and analyzing the information you have found on your topic. You should at least use 2 concepts or theories in your analysis (Examples: social construction; doing gender; purposes of social institutions; conflict theory; structural functionalist theory; disability as a social construction).
