Explain 4-5 important functions of each nutrient, as well as indicating whether they a macronutrient or a micronutrient. For each one of your chosen nutrients, provide examples of three natural food sources which are a good source of your chosen nutrient. Using the Dietary Reference Intakes listed in the first few pages of your textbook, please indicate what category you fall under, as well as the amounts of each chosen nutrient you must be consuming on a daily basis. Finally, use Table 2.1 (found in your textbook as well as in the lecture slides) and indicate how many daily calories you should be consuming, based on the category you believe you fall under. Please indicate why you consider you should fall under your chosen category while also explaining why or why not you agree with the amount of calories indicated for your consumption in the aforementioned table.
