In this module, you will learn about politics, power, and foundations of organizational structure. Chapter 13 introduces the concept of power and politics. Where does power come from? What gives an individual or a group influence over others? Understanding the dynamics of power and politics in an organization is an essential part of organizational behavior. Chapter 15 discusses the meaning of organizational structure, common organizational frameworks, and alternate design options. It also discusses downsizing, the reasons why organizational structures differ, and organizational designs and employee behavior.
