Please use APA Guidelines while writing your paper as this is the format most commonly used for the science based papers. Please do not use Wikipedia as a reference 4. DO NOT copy word for word throughout your paper. DO NOT paraphrase content from a printed source unless it is cited. This is called plagiarism. Cite all work that is not original 5. Please check spelling and grammar. There will be one point taken off for every spelling and grammar mistake. 6. Create a case study at the end of your report. For example, you will write about a patient that you are treating (real or made-up), who has the condition you are writing about. Write a brief history, 2 short term goals, and 5 activities that you would perform in a 45-50 minute session.(see example) Ex. of Case Study John is a 7-year old boy with Spina Bifida @ T12 – L5. He ambulates with forearm crutches and bilateral AFO’s. Short term goals (3 months): John will be able to sit to stand without crutches without loss of balance in order for him to get up from his desk at school. John will be able to ambulate in the classroom (15m) without forearm crutches in order for him to safely maneuver in class without loss of balance. Activities: 1. short sit to stand without upper extremity support 2. Hamstring strengthening by sitting on scooter board and pulling with feet. 3. Prone on scooter board for trunk and hip extensor strengthening 4. Stretch bilateral hip flexors 5. Sidestep activities for Hip abductor strengthening Writing format should be preferably using APA format.
