This assignment will consist of selecting a topic related to material covered in the second half of the class that you want to learn more about.  An example could be effectively teaching caregivers, implementing health literacy into practice, or another topic.  From your topic selection, devote a paragraph or two to explaining the theory/construct and its place in the literature.  Then, using the literature, give an example or two of how this theory can be applied in the clinic.  Then, reflect how this theory has or will affect your teaching in the clinic in the future.  For example, What impact will it have on how you present material to patients, or what implication does it present for educating patients in general?
