The purpose of the paper will be to expand your class practice to analyze American society through lenses of Shafer, Merton, and Benedit; to lay out problems relying on theories of Marx, Davis&Moore, and DuBois;  propose a solution.

The paper should be 7-10 pages. Please use 1-inch margins and 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Also, it should be double spaced with no extra spaces between paragraphs. Use citation either on
