Drawing on what we have covered this semester, discuss and analyze the contrast between what you think California will look like in 2050 and what you think it should look like in 2050.  Can California collectively manage its land, water, and resources?  How do the current contradictions facing California help limit and shape its future? Do you think in the next thirty-odd years that Californians can resolve some of these contradictions and “create a society to match the scenery”?
