BIOL L 100 RESEARCH PRESENTATION WITH VOICEOVER. 1. Choose a topic that we are covering in class that interests you. For example: Cancer, Ecological issues, Latest Cell Biology research etc. 2. E-mail or show me the topic in class and get it approved. 3. Pick at least TWO contemporary research articles and 1 news brief from the popular media such as a newspaper or other magazine article such as one from Popular Science, National Geographic etc about your topic of interest. You may choose more than one article! 4. Put together a 15-slide presentation WITH VOICEOVER(Powerpoint, Keynote etc) including citations/references of your findings and present logical arguments for or against the article. Be sure to include personal examples and experiences on the topic if possible. Structure your presentation with an introduction, main part of the paper and a clear conclusion. Make sure you proofread for grammatical errors and structural issues.
