The margins should be no more than an inch around. Here are some important elements to consider as you prepare a report: Organize your material. Make sure each paragraph presents and develops a single main point. The first paragraph summarizes the article, and the following paragraphs your personal reactions to the article. Closes the paper with a short concluding sentence; Again, summarize the article with the first paragraph followed by two or more paragraphs containing your personal reaction, followed by a conclusion. Use transition statements to bridge each paragraph; Support any general points you make or attitudes you express with specific reasons and details. Statements such as “I agree with many ideas in this article” or “I found the book very interesting” are meaningless without specific evidence that shows why you feel as you do; You may use very short quotations, but do not rely on them too much. Use them only to emphasize key ideas; Edit the paper carefully for errors in grammar, punctuation, word use, and spelling
