Persuasive speeches seek to create change in your audience’s beliefs, attitudes, and behavior. The possibilities are truly endless in terms of topics. Just remember to be respectful of others when giving speeches on sensitive topics. The goal is to persuade your audience to do something. You could convince them to donate to a charity, you could try persuade the audience to agree with your point of view on a controversial topic, etc.  The speech will be 6-8 minutes and should be on a topic you feel strongly about.
