Your Reflection Essay must be at least 500 words and properly formatted according to the instructions in the syllabus. If you reference any of the readings from this class, you must use MLA documentation. Always cite your sources using in-text citations that correspond to a Works Cited page. In this essay, you will self-reflectively analyze your performance in this course and consider the ways you have grown as a writer and student. If there are aspects of writing or reading rhetorically/analytically with which you still struggle, you may write about them. Writing is a process: we can always improve, and we must reflect on both our strengths and weaknesses to do so. You may reference your 3-2-1 Journals and synthesis and auto-ethnography essays to recall what you have learned. You can also think of this essay as a response to the survey I assigned in the first week. For instance, if you originally answered that you didn’t know how to use MLA, you can explain that you are now more comfortable using MLA and highlight which text or aspect of the course most helped you understand MLA documentation. You may also address the content/theme of the course. You may also reflect on your experience as a university student during a pandemic. Read the rubric for more details. You should aim to fulfill the requirements of the “Skilled Craftperson” level (4pts).
