Compare the presidencies of Barack Obama and Donald Trump by applying the theories of presidential power we’ve read about and have discussed this semester.  This is a difficult assignment for at least two reasons: First, it requires that we evaluate these presidencies in light of these theories rather than providing our own personal opinions for better or worse.  Second, it is difficult because the Trump presidency has just ended so it may be especially difficult to draw definitive conclusions in this case.  For background on Obama and Trump, you should make sure to utilize the discussion of their backgrounds in our course readings and in other legitimate academic and journalistic sources.
