Sports as Social and Global Phenomena Assessment Two: Athlete Case Study Format: Written Coursework Task: For this assessment you must research and write a case study on the global inequalities (from the list provided) faced by an athlete of your choice, using appropriate sport sociology resources (e.g. those on the reading list). This assignment should be underpinned with a sociological approach to aid understanding and significance. The case study is an opportunity for you to successfully write about real life situations and focus on the global inequalities athletes face within the realms of their chosen sport and society (this can be either a past or current athlete).
